Campaign Info

In games of Deadzone your strike force will be competing with, and skirmishing against, those of other players. These games will be played within a continuing campaign, and their results will affect your fortunes for later games.

Over time you will see your strike force grow and evolve. You will acquire new recruits and resources to be used in future engagements. Your soldiers will gain valuable experience and learn new and useful skills. They will see danger regularly and may suffer long-term injuries and, after the most savage of defeats, they may even die. Taken together, these changes, successes and failures will tell the story of your strike force.

It will be your goal to grow your strike force over time, to achieve your goals and to cope with setbacks. You will need to know when to cut your losses, yet also know when to risk it all to seize victory over your enemies.

Campaign Details

  • The campaign is made of a series of rounds.
  • Each round you will be assigned an opponent to play against.
  • You are assigned a mission first and then build a "strike team" to best achieve that mission.
  • After each match you will earn reputation and experience for your models.
  • Casualties during matches can accrue injuries when (or if) they recover. You can concede matches voluntarily to prevent further damage to the strike team.
  • Clearances can be purchased to unlock more items and model types.
  • Mercenaries can be hired to provide expertise for critical battles.
  • Players can compete on the league table by having the most reputation.

Background Story

< Waiting for the Campaign start>

When the campaign is closer to starting, this section will include some background story for the campaign. We can decide which planet we are fighting over, and the reason why it was declared a Deadzone. This may influence the story of your own strike force; after all, the greater the stake that your strike force has in this conflict, the harder they will fight for it.
